To the Bleeding World
Feelings of religion, caste and race
Have slowed down our pace
While science is reaching for the stars
Our Mother Earth is bleeding through the scars
While some men are trying to find answers to the universe
Some are digging the graves of their brothers
How and when did men turn so cruel?
Trampling over Earth like herds of monsters
You have polluted the earth
Ending life around you
Now you want to kill your brothers
The end of the earth seems very true
What is it we are fighting for?
What is it we are running after?
Your deeds of greed have snatched the world of its lustre
Where is your humanity?
Do you not see what lies on the path behind you?
Piles and piles of corpses, of trees, of animals
With no offset
How do you walk this path?
Do you not feel the pain?
Do you not hear the voices of those alive
Crying and screaming, all in vain
This cannot define you and me
This cannot be us
The love that hides behind
The thoughts of greed and lust
Don't let it slip away
Your humanity needs to stay
The world needs your care
To walk together and not stray
